Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Namestake, a name-research tool provided by Namestake LLC. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
What Namestake provides
Namestake brings together public signals about domains, social handles, dictionary usage, and trademarks, then offers practical and AI-assisted observations. It is an early research aid—not a registration service, clearance search, purchasing service, or guarantee that a name is available or safe to use.
Not legal or professional advice
Trademark notes and other conclusions are informational only and are not legal advice. Public records can be incomplete, delayed, ambiguous, or change after a check. Before adopting, registering, or investing in a name, verify important results directly and consult a qualified professional when appropriate.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the names you research and choose, for confirming rights and availability, and for complying with applicable laws and third-party terms. Do not use Namestake to infringe another person’s rights, disrupt the service, bypass usage limits, automate abusive traffic, or submit unlawful or harmful material.
Third-party sources and links
Namestake may query or link to registries, social platforms, search engines, dictionary sources, and other third-party services. Namestake LLC does not control their content, availability, policies, or accuracy. A missing public page does not guarantee that an account can be claimed, and a domain result does not guarantee that it can be purchased.
AI-assisted content
Some recommendations are generated with an artificial-intelligence provider. These outputs can be incomplete or wrong and should be treated as opinions, not verified facts or database results. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for a business or legal decision.
Service availability
We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of Namestake. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every source will respond successfully. Reasonable usage limits may be applied to protect the service and control operating costs.
Intellectual property
Namestake’s interface, original content, branding, and software are owned by Namestake LLC or its licensors. These terms allow personal and internal business use of the service; they do not transfer ownership of Namestake or any third-party material.
Disclaimers and liability
Namestake is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Namestake LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of—or reliance on—the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
